John is not scripture. Conversation.

[Response to a man who replied with John 3.18 to 3 verses in the 3 Gospels where Jesus answers the question “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”]

ok, you started this by saying Jesus in the 3 Gospels is wrong. You posted a verse about faith only after I posted Jesus’ answer to the “what must I do to inherit eternal life”, which he answered 3 times and in each time he lists THE LAW, Keeping the commandments, and selling all your goods and giving to the poor.

In the three Gospels salvation is never ever said to come by grace. Faith isn’t even mentioned. Although when it is used when referring to physical healing.

Every time Jesus is asked he answered by telling them things THEY MUST DO.

He also repeatedly tells people THEY MUST FORGIVE or they wont be forgiven.

In Matthew 25 the people who are allowed in DID things/works, the people who were not allowed in DID NOT DO things/works.

He also says those who do not keep the law [ “practice lawlessness”]will not enter, “depart from me ye that practice lawlessness”.

In John is all about believing and faith. With Paul it is Grace. The irony is Paul makes a list of people who wont go to heaven and in this list he names people who have BROKEN CERTAIN LAWS. But I thought “we were not under the law”?

And Christians will say “we are not under the law”, and in the next breath say, “such and such type of sinner is going to hell”.

Acts has three commandments that people must keep. Oddly no Christian Dive ever known cares about those commandments. Its also odd “do not murder” wasn’t one of them.

John has a 3 year ministry Jesus in the three Gospels have a one year.
John says John the Baptist is not Elijah, Jesus in the three Gospels says he is Elijah
John says no one has ever seen God, the True scriptures are full of people seeing God
The Jesus in John has a huge ego. The True Jesus says he isn’t even good. “Why do you call me good? For there is ONE who is good, that is God”. – Jesus
In John Jesus says he is “the light of the world”, the True Jesus says “You are the light of the world”.
In John the resurrected Jesus says not to touch him, the True Jesus lets people hold him by the feet.
In John Jesus says he will raise the temple in three days, in the three Gospels this line was made up by the pharisees. It says in the text they made it up.

Besides that and many more, the whole story is different. The day of death is different. The way of salvation is different. The Jesus in John seems to voice alot of Philo’s theology. Philo was very famous then and died in about the same year Jesus died.

Religious people worldwide do little more than adopt the Canon of scripture, and the doctrines of the nearest, most popular, or the first religion they really looked into. People in Utah swear Joseph Smith is a prophet. People in Arkansas say the same people are a cult. Both groups of people adopted their proximity faith. By adopting their proximity faith they are actually putting their faith in men, not God.

Scripture cannot contradict scripture. And no one can contradict the Torah and Jesus in the three Gospels.

Christians in Lawlessness

Following Paul, and the destruction of the Law, leads to this….the celebration of sin that should be punished by death.

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Paul was wrong about The Law

Paul contradicts Yahweh, Moses, & Jesus

Yahweh:
Deuteronomy 12:32
“Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.”

Moses:
“‘Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’”

Paul
“if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.”

#Jesus
“till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law”
